Believe the Hype!
I kept hearing people call this combo “Botox in a bottle,” so I had to try it — and wow, I’m impressed. I’ve been using The Ordinary Argireline Solution 10% and Matrixyl 10% + HA together for a few weeks now, and the difference in my skin is noticeable.The fine lines around my forehead and eyes look softer, and my skin feels firmer and more hydrated overall. These products are a must for those with sensitive skin!
I love this product line. I have ridiculous sensitive skin and it took a long time for me to find a product that didn’t irritate my skin. Their products feel so nice and hydrating. None of them are oily. Some are a little tacky when layering but I think that means you have to wait a little longer between layers. I feel the quality is great and I have seen results in a 60 day time span. I have deep forehead wrinkles that I am self conscious about and these products have done such a great job plumping my skin back out. All of the ingredients are safe for people like me with sensitivities. I was unsure how and when to layer so chatgpt whipped up a routine for me that I follow religiously. will be sticking with this line!

I’d heard this described as Botox in a Bottle, so I thought hey, it’s worth a try. It’s not REALLY botox in a bottle of course, but it does give a temporary solution…for a few hours. I take what I can get since I’ve determined that botox isn’t for me. I do enjoy skincare and this one I’ve repurchased – so I do enjoy it and the temporary line blurring. It’s affordable, it has no scent, and my skin looks good after I use it.

I bought this with two other The Ordinary products. The other two were severely underwhelming, but this one actually seems to be working. I’ve only been using it about a month (morning & evening), but I feel like my 11 lines and marionette lines are less visible. I’m in my 60s, so needless to say these lines are NOT minor.It’s a clear, watery solution (similar to toner in consistency) so a bit hard to apply because it runs all over the place, but a nickel-size “puddle” of the product is enough for my key areas. I’d prefer if it was a bit thicker and in a pump bottle because I’ve almost knocked the dropper over multiple times (and would have lost the whole product) but the dropper is at least hygeienic.

Okay I was VERY skeptical of this product at first. I was looking for an alternative to Botox and a way to reduce wrinkles and came across this product and all I can say is WOW. I can’t believe more people aren’t talking about this product. It’s sensitive and you cannot beat the price! I typically use it at night on days I’m not using a retinol. My skin has been GLOWING since I started using it.The only piece of advice is to remember that it should not be used at the same time your using a vitamin C serum. I was originally thinking about using it in the morning but switch to night because of this. If you’re not using a vitamin C I think this would actually be great in a morning routine but I immediately felt the tightening effects. I’ve never really believed the hype about this brand but I must say everything I’ve bought from them has been has been amazing and affordable. Photo for reference I’m 34 and this is without any makeup!

Mixed feelings
This serum does seem to help tighten expression lines; however it is extremely hard to use because it is so thin like water! It makes it hard to target specific areas of concern because putting directly on the face it just runs down like water and trying to put it on your hands before adding to face means it just drips off fingers. Therefore there is a lot of wasted product and you run the risk of it getting into eyes or mouth. The other issue is it seems to be fairly drying and leaves a residue that almost feels like when salt water from the ocean dries on the face. I’ll continue to use if it helps show more improvement in expression lines, but unless it drastically changes them I do not think I would purchase again since it is so difficult to use and my skin is already fairly dry. Luckily once I apply moisturizer the dryness isn’t as bad. I just despise how thin it is!

This works very fast. I do layer it twice, maybe three times just cuz I love it so much and think maybe it will do even more, lol. I also use it for my jowls and double chin and a noticable difference that I havent noticed with other products. Please Please, The Ordinary, do not raise the price. And personally I like the “watery” consistency. Oh…I have a tendency to squint my eyes and with this I don’t so much, so even though I haven’t used botox from my understanding it works similar.

Swear by this. Helped my neck reduce and tighten. I have also worked out, quit alcohol and cbd gummies but of all my skincare and laser therapy I truly think its trying this that has given me the best tightening results without botox. Highly recommend!!
