A very fine misting serum that makes my skin feel fresh and dewy
The complete list on ingredients printed on the box is:Aqua/Water/Eau, Glycerin, Polyglyceryl-10 Oleate, Squalane, Lactobacillus Ferment, Sodium Hydroxide, Propanediol, Fructooligosaccharides, Glycoproteins, Bioflavonoids, Lycium Barbarum (Goji) Fruit Extract, Pentylene Glycol, Opuntia Ficus-Indica Stem Extract, Ethylhexylglycerin, Calcium Gluconate, Gluconolactone, Sodium Hyaluronate, Glutamylamidoethyl Imidazole, Cyamopsis Tetragonoloba (Guar) Gum, Xanthan Gum, Glucose, Hydrolyzed Pea Protein, Phytic Acid, Sodium Chloride, Tocopherol, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Succinate. This is the first time I’ve seen Phytic Acid in a skincare product, so I did a little bit of looking into it. I found that it’s a mild alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), but unlike AHA’s such as glycolic acid, it does not make the skin photosensitive. I love this, as I can spray Barrier Pro on my face right before heading outside and it won’t cause any damage. I also love that it has no hormone-disrupting fragrances, parabens, or phthalates. It has a very subtle natural scent that reminds me of fresh jasmine, but it’s so mild that it doesn’t last long. The pump spray comes out in a very fine mist. The directions say to spritz it 3-5 times to cover the face, neck, and chest, but I’ve found that it works better if I slowly press down as I move the bottle in a circle. I only need to do that once or twice per use and I get more even coverage than with the short spurts. It’s not a huge bottle, only 2.6oz/75ml, so I don’t think it will last as long as I’d like, especially as I’m using it more now that the weather is getting colder and drier, and for $65 it seems a little overpriced. Still, it’s a lovely spray that makes my face feel more hydrated without making my eye makeup run, and I’m enjoying using it.

    Softens skin
This is a spray-type serum. It comes with a cap, making it easy to carry around. The spray feels a little uneven, but it’s not a big deal. After using the serum, I can feel my skin soften relatively quickly. It also seems to brighten my skin tone. However, it’s not very moisturizing. For added moisture, I layer it over another cream.

    This spray serum is lovely!
This spray serum is very nice! First, let me qualify that my husband works in dermatology and I have access to high-end skin care products. I’ve taken good care of my skin for years and it’s already in great shape, so I never expect to see dramatically-improved results from any new product. That said, I was pleased with the Color Science Barrier Pro Serum Spray sent to me by Amazon Vine in return for my honest review. Does it make me look 10 years younger? No, but there is a “glow” after I spritz myself face that isn’t greasy or glittery, just skin that is hydrated and calm. The mist is very fine and doesn’t disturb my makeup, there’s no discernible scent, and it doesn’t sting my skin or eyes. It dries quick enough, maybe 30 seconds after I spritz it on. I’m not sure what to make of the claims that it helps my skin make its own vitamin D, but my skin feels refreshed and looks nice. I keep the spray bottle in my purse and use it throughout the day. It’s expensive emoji that I’d hesitate to purchase, but having used it, ai know the spray mist is extremely fine so it should last quite a while, even using it 3-4 times a day.

  4. Khoa

lightweight serum spray that calms and strengthens skin
I’ve been using the Colorescience Barrier Pro Serum Spray every day, and I’m hooked on how easy it is to use. A bit pricey. The spray feels super light, absorbs fast, and never leaves my skin sticky or greasy. My skin feels instantly soothed and looks more hydrated and radiant since I started using it. It has ingredients like hyaluronic acid for moisture, prickly pear extract for antioxidants, and probiotics to support a healthy skin barrier. Even when my skin feels sensitive or stressed, this spray calms it down and helps it feel smoother and firmer. I also love that it supports vitamin D production and helps protect against daily pollution. Highly recommend if you want simple, effective hydration and barrier care without any heaviness or fragrance.

  5. Maltimom

Splurge worthy, an additional hit of moisture that gives a glow
I picked up this mist because I’m always looking for new ways to moisturize my skin, especially my face. The mist sprays really fine, so I can use this over my makeup and throughout the day. The ingredients are very high quality, so this actually hydrates, it’s not just some fancy water. My skin is glowy after using it, and the scent isn’t noticeable. This container will last a long time, so it’s worth it as a splurge.

An easy to use serum and makeup refresher or setter
This Colorescience Barrier Pro Serum Spray is a bit of a jack of all trades for me. I like the very fine mist the container makes since it makes it easier to apply this hydrating serum right after a shower. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t irritate my skin (no stinging or tingling or astringent tightness). The other thing I find it effective as is as a makeup setting or refreshing spray. We’ve had a couple cooler and windier days and a quick spritz of this serum spray has my makeup looking good as new. It doesn’t have a strong odor or fragrance which is wonderful since it’s pleasant just as it is. Overall, for the convenience and solid ingredient list, I’d say this is a good value and I’d keep an eye out for other items in this line.

    Skin barrier protection made simple
I received the colorscience barrier pro serum spray. It has hyaluronic acid and peptides that fortify your skin barrier. I use it every morning before I moisturize and I’ve noticed a difference. My skin is glowy and less blotchy- and more hydrated. It does dry down fairly quickly, I’d say in less than a minute. This is a great investment and value for your skin. An excellent product with great technology to protect your skin. Highly recommend.
