Tymo products are the only heating hair tools I’ll use from this moment forward for my 4C hair. I’m 66 years old and I have used a lot of hot irons of all kinds over my lifetime. For once, someone got it right for people with very coiled and zigzag curls like mine. I’ve bought three different tools: the original Tymo hair straightener II (works great to straighten, but the power button is in awkward place on the handle, and the design needed an update), the flat iron hair straightener brush 2 in 1 and the hair straightener brush. All three gets excellent temperatures that tames my hair to near bone straight, even the smaller edge hairs! I’ve not accidently burned myself either. The product comes with 1 glove, and the brush came with a comb too. When I’m done straightening my hair, it lasts much longer than normal. I stopped relaxers years ago, and now I can finally enjoy wear my hair straight whenever I want. Shiny, speed to heat, not too heavy to handle the product and hair straightened to almost silk press levels. This woman is very grateful, and I recommend 5 out of 5!

This brush is amazing… Both myself and my daughter use it here at home . It warms up super fast and gets really hot. Fast at straightning my hair, that means that my hair gets done very fast. Easy to have it around, I have not tried to travel with it… dont know about battery life.

It work ok I had to use more heat then I thought I would according to the directions. I have fine wavy hair and have to use 410 degress. It does work but I think a flat iron works better. My hair is very long so I made sure to brush my hair first with a regular brush then pass this through a few times. It is easy to use and does not burn your scalp or hands. I like it but think that if I have a special occasion to go to and want my hair stright I will flat iron it and use this as maintance and touch ups. When I know im not going to wash my hair for a few days and want it to be a bit more managable it works well. I don’t regret the buy its a nice product, but I like pin stright this will not give you pin stright hair but it is a good product and like I said I think it will be really good for touching up flat ironed hair since its so much easiser and faster to use. Over all its a good product and depends with you are expecting to get out of it.

Works great on thick, long hair too
I never write reviews but feel compelled to share. I love this product. I have thick, long hair and it’s kind of wild like a lions, kinda wavy, kinda straight course dry texture lol which makes me lazy to style it but this has been a game changer. It has more bristles and heat settings which is why it works so good in my hair. It combs through and straightens it while leaving a little body which I like better than being left very flat like with the flat iron. It also allows me to straighten bigger portions of my hair so it gets done that much faster. I am definitely pleased with my purchase!

Blown out or bone straight.
This product has mostly replaced my straightener. It can offer both a full, blown out look like when using a blow dryer, or a sleek style, similar to having been straightened with a flat iron, depending on how this product is used (even bumps on ends). I find two good passes, on both sides of my section, works well for me. I can’t say it’s faster than my straightener even though it does get more hair surface area in one pass, because I was fairly quick with my flat iron and there is still a bit of a learning curve with this straightening brush (keep a round brush handy). I’m getting much quicker and having better results with more use, but I wouldn’t throw away the flat iron just yet because it is still useful for cleaning up edges/neck area that this brush might miss. It gets fairly hot so I wish it came with a silicone mat to be placed on, a cover for holding, and a thermal glove, similar to other hot tools I’ve purchased, especially because I do have to use this brush at a high temp, 2 rounds. Keep hair clean when using because the brush itself is difficult to clean. It can have a lingering scent. Otherwise, I am glad I purchased it. I use it about every 9 days or so, and have had it for about 3 months without encountering any major issues. Also, make sure hair is brushed out before using this brush to avoid burning. Great product once all of the kinks are ironed out, pun unintended.

Amazing hair straightener! sketchy packaging
I am a little skeptical that the tymo ring that was sent to me, was returned by someone else as it looked like the package had been repackaged, and I didn’t get a bag that is supposed to go with the hair straightener instructions, nothing. That disturbs me because I don’t like using hair things after other people plus I’m now worried that something might go wrong with it so for the future, I would order off the actual Tymo website.The hair straightener itself is absolutely amazing! Works just as described!

At first I didnt know which version to purchase this plus version or the older version. I am happy I purchased this one as it has updated features and is digital, cord is longer, more temperature options etc. But you would think your paying more so would get the accessories that come with the first one such as hair brush, clips etc but this one does not. But other than that so happy with this purchase as I never use heat tools due to hair getting damaged but this I will use as it is not as abrasive as your ghd, straightners etc. Definitely better than your standard straightener if you care about protecting your hair from damage.

Ist ein super tolles Produkt! Das glättet meine Haare wirklich schnell (hab einen Afro) innerhalb von Sekunden. Leider waren meine Haare danach sehr puffig da sie nicht ganz trocken waren, aber nächstes mal sollte das kein Problem werden.Leider ist es wirklich schwer zu reinigen.

I’m using this one for my beard since it might cost more but looks firm and it also is firm. It works well, does take more time to get really hot but it really turns my curled beard back into a strait one. Also good in the hand for usage so yeah, I’m positive about this one.
