Best nourishing product I’ve found for my dry curly hair
My hair stylist started using Surface Curls products on my hair a few months ago and I loved how my hair felt, looked and smelled (like caramelized sugar!), so I started adding the Curls products a little at a time for my own routine and absolutely love how much healthier my dry hair is looking. Because it’s so dry, I can only wash it a couple of times a week (and am now also using Curls shampoo and conditioner). But this Surface Curls Serum is my go-to every morning whether I wash my hair or not. My hair just soaks up the serum like a sponge and makes it softer, shinier (especially love), and the curls more defined and yet is not weighed down, stiff or sticky. Since the product is so expensive, I sometimes use a little unscented oil serum (SEEN) or coconut oil serum (FOCUS) first. For an added touch of hold without stiffness, I use the Curls Oil Gel, which adds even more nourishment to my hair. I feel like I’ve finally found a product line I can stick with. I’m glad I spread out my purchases, though, so I don’t run out of everything at once!

perfect for fine curly hair
This is by far the best oil/curl serum on the market for fine curly hair!!! I reapply during the day when I get frizz attacks, it keeps the curl smooth, lush and wavy with out any stickiness or that heavy residue feeling. The smell is like caramel, I have one in my bag and one at home.

So silky! Would love it more if Amazon packaged it in a plastic bag…
so if the top of the bottle becomes loose in shipping – as it did in my case – the serum won’t leak all over other items that are shipped in the same box. This serum makes my hair feel so soft! I can’t say my naturally curly hair doesn’t frizz at all in the summer heat of Alabama, but Surface helps keep the curls in tact. This is an expensive product but I will spend the extra money to keep my hair soft and relatively manageable. Still, it’s wasting money if the product leaks during shipping.

Love this stuff! It is great to use those days that you need a little moisturizing. I use it when my hair is dry at the ends. It helps and smells really good!

Bottle 1/3 full
Terrible! The bottle was only a 1/3 full. I will be returning. I am not sure if it was used or that is the amount normally provided.
