If you want a thick lipstick that isn’t shear then don’t order this. On my lips it’s very shear (sheer?) And most of the shades look exactly the same on my lips. On paper o my skin they’re different but my lips already have some colour to them and subtle differences don’t appear very well. It also makes my lips tingle a bit so I’ve put down my homemade balm first and that seems to help a bit. I don’t know, they’re good for kids or for someone that won’t wear it often. Or if you’re like me you don’t want to pay $10 for a stick of lipstick

Surprisingly long-lasting for such an inexpensive product
Overall, I was pleased with this lipstick set. All the colors go on smoothly, and feel great on my lips. I tend to get dry lips, and these are very moisturizing, so feel great on. The darker colors also lasted on my lips for much longer than expected for such an inexpensive product. I had to reapply after about 3 hours.Some positives:-Moisturizing and goes on easily.-Long-lasting for such an affordable product.-You get a lot of colors, and can layer and mix.Some negatives:-The colors of these lipsticks are much lighter than what is shown in the picture, so no browns.-A lot of the lighter colors look different in the tube, but end up looking pretty much the same on lips.I would definitely recommend this set as a gift for a teen, or for someone new to makeup, or if you just like variety.

Dried out my lips
I got this for my daughter as a birthday gift. She loved it! And I was happy about some of the colors for myself. However, soon after her birthday I noticed that her lips were so dry and were beginning to crack. I figured it must be due to the changing season. But a day or two after I wore her lipstick, my lips did the same thing! I didn’t make the connection until it happened to me again for a third time (wish I would have figured it out after the second time wearing it). I had to hide the lipstick from my daughter so she’ll wear mine. The colors were great and it did seem to last just as long as my other lipsticks. But I have to give it the one star due to the effect it had on our lips

This set of lipsticks was rather disappointing in that, from the tube it looks like there is a nice spectrum of colors ranging from soft to deep, but when applied they are all very light– more like a tinted chapstick in terms of color saturation. The lipstick itself has a nice buttery feel when applied but there is simply not enough pigment in these lipsticks to make them look on the lips the same color as they appear in the tube. Even a straightforward classic red only registers light pink on the lips and when tested on my hand. Some barely register a color. Probably better to spend money on a single tube of lipstick you know you love rather than buy a set of 12 that are just so-so and indistinct. That said, if you like very sheer lipsticks you may like this, but just know that rather than 12 distinct shades, its more like 4-5 shades with very incremental differences between them.

A GOOD deal for a good deal more!
I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised! This is definitely worth the more than affordable price. The colors are great, the lipstick is moisturizing and…(drum roll)…it stays on! Also doesn’t taste like weird chemicals on your lips – in fact, no taste at all (love that). I’ve spent as much as $30 for designer lipsticks some of which – meh. These are more than worth it for the money! Good variety of colors, too.

I am really happy with this production. Love the colors!!! My lips feel so soft. The product also comes in very nice compact packaging that is easy to store and manage. The lipstick tube itself is very nice and has a fancy feel. Overall, I’m very pleased with the product and how much I saved. I got value, quality and quantity for my money which is always a PLUS!!!! I will purchase again.
