I’m older with a bit more stomach and small butt, my hips are 38″. I purchased a Large and these fit wonderfully and they don’t ride up. The top sits about 3″ below my bellybutton. I wash them in cold water and line dry. They’re comfortable and I really like them.

The Super High waisted were better. These hit just under the belly button and I wanted higher than that.5’4″ tall 125 pounds ….I bought mediums in this and the super high, and I returned these. Very thick, very warm,very soft and high quality / no ride up.

I ordered these ‘Bridget Jones’ pants to wear under a particular pair of high waist trousers. I was not disappointed.On the positive side, these knickers are high waisted, yes, but they don’t go right up to your armpits by any means. They are excellent quality and fit well without pinching. They have washed perfectly on 30 degrees – I change daily and don’t see the need to boil them.I have not as yet found a negative. Ok, they aren’t a cute little lacey number, but the colours are vibrant and the style is classic – excellent for the gym changing room, for some styles of trouser and at night if you have to use a liner.
