But be sure to check the measurements because this scarf is not a little lightweight scarf suitable for summer wear. This is a huge scarf and could double as a shawl, or wear when the weather is a little crisper. Definitely recommend and definitely a great gift idea! I would purchase again in a heartbeat. It’s a bit slippery so I personally pin or knot it to wear around my shoulders. I like it, and love the green with botanical/bird print – it reminds me of Victorian era bird scientific drawings or something! One side (with sharper print so the “front”) is shinier than the other, but it can be worn either way depending on your taste. It’s as large as I hoped from measurements, I use it pashmina style. It would make a pretty curtain or something as well, I’ve considered it for a small window ha ha, but I like wearing it.I’m not an expert but I would not think it was natural “silk” personally, though it likewise isn’t glossy-slick heavy satin looking either so maybe it’s more silk-like than other options?It would be a fun gift for someone who likes scarves.

This is POLYESTER, so if you want silk, don’t buy it.It is almost as soft as real silk and it is very beautiful, so it is worth the price. It is really a lovely scarf. Worth every penny .
