For men too!
For men too!! I am fair-skinned and have had skin cancer; shading my face is a wise move. I ordered the black large-brimmed hat and wear it with my black sweatshirt and black sweatpants. It looks very manly–practical and useful in stopping sunrays from damaging my skin. A unique product, good job designers! Perfect for pickleball days.Richard from Virginia

Great at shading your entire face from the Sun!
4 1/2 Stars. And this hat is very comfortable and fit perfectly. There’s nothing that is going to pull or yank at your hair.It has a HUGE front and side brim which allows face and eyes to have incredible protection from intense Sun.I bought the black one, and I live where it’s very, very hot. So far there’s no change in color whatsoever. And no dye comes off on my skin from the black color.I took a half a star off because, in my opinion, the part that goes around your head is a little too thick. It’s nice that it has no top so that you don’t get super hot. But that thick band does increase heat somewhat.

Sun protection
I bought this visor last year and it’s still like new despite constant wear. I have long hair that I wear up during outside activities as temps are hot here. I was interested in something to protect my face and eyes from sun damage. I have floppy hats and visors but those are not for yard work, walking and hiking. This visor stays on my big head and is very comfortable. The velcro makes it easy to adjust and after a year, the velcro is still strong. The seams/threads are still intact. I wash this in the dishwasher without problems. The brim is just wide enough to get most of my face, but any wider the wind would dislodge and peripheral vision is hindered. Just perfect. I like the black band because it hides sweat marks but the white reflects the light. My sunglasses fit well under the brim. I love this visor and will repurchase when necessary or for gifts.

Perfect for beach days, sports, or yard work
These large brim visors are great for the Florida year-round sunshine. I wear mine hard and often. I have hand washed mine with detergent and they clean up pretty well. Although sunscreen is a challenge to remove.

This is my new favorite sun visor! I have a large head & it fits comfortably. Great shade size & coverage, even on the sides. It came with a detachable chin strap too for windy conditions.

Better coverage than extra long billed baseball caps
After trying this on, I can see that it has great protection for my face all the way to my neck area. I was needing something with longer coverage like this to avoid reactivating the dreaded perimenopause melasma-stash that has developed above my lip area. I have to keep it out of the sun, regardless of sunscreen, while on my annual Hawaii trip for one week. I have some my research on perimenopause melasma and need the prevention. So, if you are prone to melasma in your face, all the way down past your chin while enjoying the sun, this is the solution.
