Excellent Walking Boots for any Weather
Bought these boots for overseas trip in wet conditions. Ordered normal size 8.5M – fit true to size. Comfortable, with good cushion right out of the box. Wore in rain and no leaks. Waterproofing works – in addition sprayed with Scotchgard to aid in cleaning. Room for insole to aid with arch support. Good tread for those slippery conditions. Great color combination – Tobacco/Black. Note – the leather material will scratch/scuff but those mars will rub out with a little brushing. This will be a great versatile boot with jeans and leggings to dress up or down depending on the occasion. Excellent boot for the price from well-known brand – Sorel. Happy with purchase so far – would recommend.

Perfect boots for illinois weather and for use when traveling. I wear these on mild winter weather days without any issues. Also great when traveling and the trip involves hiking and city walking. Super comfy shoes that can adapt to multiple uses.

Nice Boots, Run Narrow
I usually wear a 6.5 – 7, and purchased in a 7 to be on the safe side. The 7 fit well, but were a bit narrow for me, even with a thin sock. Walking in them was comfortable, but they haven’t stretched at all in the width, which being leather I figured they would. I decided to keep them (being they are waterproof and look nice) and take them to a shoe repair nearby for stretching.

I recently saw a video from Samantha Brown (host of several travel shows) and she suggested getting a pair of waterproof Chelsea boots with good tread for travel, and I mean, Sam knows her stuff. The kind she recommended aren’t available anymore, so I began my search to find something similar.The goal is to have one pair of boots you can wear with casual outfits, yet dress them up a bit in the evening if necessary. Less to pack. Waterproof ensures your feet will stay dry if it’s raining or snowing. Good tread will eliminate slips, as well as help you to walk on uneven surfaces, if necessary (think cobblestone streets in Europe).I found these Sorel Chelsea boots just in time before vacation and I’m so glad I did! They are so comfortable! No break in time needed. They have nice arch support, which I need, and great tread. Typically I am a 7.5M in all my shoes, but I sized up half a size based on reviews. If I was going to wear very thin socks, I could have stayed with my ususal 7.5. However, I’m glad I went up half a size because I can wear a thicker sock and they fit just as they should. The toe box has plenty of room, which is important to me for comfort. I find them easy to put on and pull off with no issue (there is no zipper).I’ve only worn them with jeans and pants so far, but they’d be so cute with a dress as well. I like them so much, I’m considering a second pair in another color.

Would be better if the heels didn’t peel
I ordered these boots just over a month ago and have worn them 4 or 5 times. I really like the way they look. My normal size of 6.5 fit me well. They were a little tight over my high instep, but they stretched to fit quickly. There is minimal arch support. I deducted stars because the sides of the heels are already peeling. I got them wet twice, not by walking through puddles, but from light rain, though they are supposed to be waterproof, so they shouldn’t be peeling, especially after just a few days of wear. Otherwise, I like the style of them and the comfort. I never felt like I was going to slip in them.

Love these! Sorel comes through again, with flying colours. Comfy (I have wide feet and don’t have much of an arch). They look awesome with jeans or tights. The colour is on point. Perfect height, I generally don’t like ankle boots, I find they hit the ankle at a weird angle. But these are great, the fit is comparable to Blundstones (which I enjoyed until the sole totally disintegrated and their customer service was useless at best).Ive only worn these out a few times, it’s been rainy/muddy although I do avoid puddles, but no marks on the outside or wetness inside.

Love these ankle boots! They are very comfortable to walk in all day. Not for extreme winter weather, but warm enough for wet, chilly days. I usually wear 6.5-7, so the size 7 fit me perfectly and comfortably. I highly recommend these boots!

High quality made. Fits snug and forms to your foot bit doesnt become too loose to wear. Goes with everything i get lots of compliments. I like the round toe since i have wide feet with high arches pointed toes dont work well for me. Worth the money on sale or not. Waterproof also.
