How to Use Sungenol Hair Rollers?
Step 1: Wet your hair and blow it with a hair dryer until it is semi-dry. Be sure to keep hair moist and do not use directly on completely dry hair.
Step 2: Use a pointed comb to comb your hair smoothly before styling, then take a small amount of hair and place it on the curling iron (please note: do not put too much hair, the amount of hair can be just enough to lay flat on the curling iron, the thickness of the hair It cannot exceed 0.8 inches, otherwise it will affect the effect of the hairstyle). Then use the curling iron to curl the hair to the roots. When doing curls, hold your hair vertically. Such curls will make your head look fuller and give your hair a sense of volume.
Step 3： Fix the curled hair with the duckbill clip provided in the set, and then repeat step 2 to put all the hair into the hair rollers(please note: if the hair is dry during the styling process phenomenon, you should spray water on your hair in time to keep it moist).
Step 4: Blow dry all your hair with a hair dryer or let it dry naturally. Then slowly remove the hair rollers from your hair. If you want better and longer-lasting curls, it’s best to spray them with setting spray or use setting gel for styling.
Step 5: After removing the hair rollers, do not use a comb to comb your hair (please note: if you use a comb to comb it, your hair may not curl). Comb your hair gently with your hands. After combing your hair, you can use styling spray again to fix the style to achieve a more lasting effect.

Not for wet curling, perfect for setting dry hair
The grip on these is fantastic, but being my first time using curlers I learned the hard way. I have long bangs I wanted to use these to curl (think New Girl Zooey bangs) and at first I tried wrapping up wet hair and blow drying with them in – do not recommend! Ended up with so much breakage and flyaways. Pulling these curlers out just destroys your hair because of the Velcro like texture.After trial and error I figured out to put these in after I dried & curled with a round brush. That way my bangs cool while still being held in place, then I slowly and gently slide/twist the curler out, using it kind of as a brush. I still get some breakage if I’m not careful though. I’m considering other curlers for that reason & that I have super thick, long 2c hair & A LOT of it so I can’t fit all of my hair on these without them sticking to each other and creating a tangled mess.

These kept getting tangled in my hair. Maybe they are not for my thick 3C/4A hair type. It could possibly work for someone else. Maybe it’s made for fine, thin hair. I’m not sure, but it’s not for me

I love these so much I am going to buy a second set just to get more of the biggest ones. I have naturally graying hair that can be unruly. I avoid blow drying because it’s so damaging and If I let my hair air dry completely on its own I am a fuzzy headed mess. BUT, if I allow my hair to air dry about 60% and then pop these in and THEN allow it to dry completely – I end up with beautiful smooth bouncy hair —— looking like I just had a salon blowout. TRULY! And the little matching clips that come with these are GREAT. They don’t leave crimps and they hold the rollers in place while drying.

Great for Those with Experience Using Rollers
This is great if you are looking to set your blowdry (meaning you use these rollers to set your curls in place as they cool down from being blowdried) and want volume.I have thick, coarse, medium-length hair and the medium & small rollers gave me that Farrah Fawcett volume I was looking for. With patience and care, these gave me volume for 3 days. I am overall satisfied with the results of this product however…If you have fine hair, don’t have patience, never have used rollers before, or don’t know how to use rollers properly, these are NOT for you. These velcro rollers definitely have a grip and can tangle easily on thin, dry, damaged hair, or at the hands of those who are inexperienced with rollers, or do not have luck with them.Moreover, the other drawback to this product (the set I purchased specifically) is that it comes with 12 rollers (6 medium, 6 small) but only 10 duckbill clips? Surely, it would make more sense to have a clip for each roller, but this wasn’t that big of a deal to me as I have additional clips.I would give this 3.5 stars if I could: -0.5 for the missing 2 clips, and -1 star for ease of use.

Not as smooth or bouncy as my velvet overnight rollers, but good in a pinch when you have dry hair. Mist your hair and put in some mousse, put in the roller and let them sit for an hour or so.
