Comfortable and well made
I’ve started up ballet again after MANY years away from it. The dance studio initially provided shoes in their fees, but for me those weren’t comfortable with the 2 smaller leather pads and that my toes go over the edge of the front pad. I bought these because of the single leather sole plus that it noted that toes have more support. These are WAY better than what I had been using. The shoes fit perfectly and unlike the ones from the studio, the sizing is equivalent to street shoes (e.g., the other brand I got a 7.5, these I bought a 9, which is my street shoe size). First class I did with these shoes was great! When doing battement frappes, I didn’t feel like I was bruising the bottoms of my toes like it felt with the other shoes. The elastic is well positioned and holds the arch well. Overall, I’m very pleased with these shoes.

Comfortable and versatile
I am giving these five stars. They fit me well, they slide on the dance floor, they stay on, and they are light. I will probably buy a few more pair to have in my bag for when I go out and wear high heels and want a pair of shoes to slip on when the heels hurt. (I would not fold these: buy a hand bag that will hold these comfortably. You CAN fold them but I wouldn’t if I could avoid doing so.) I like the construction and I like how these can pass for business shoes in the office. For some reason I thought I was getting arch support– it is there, but it isn’t strong arch support. (It is better than nothing, though.) I would like to see these made in other colors, like red, turquoise, etc. to go with dance costumes.

Very good quality but on the narrow side
These shoes provided lots of support and were very comfortable but just too narrow. I’m usually a size 7.5. I bought the 8/8.5 and while they were slightly too long but the length was manageable, my pinky toes were just squished. I had to return them.

I teach Polynesian dance and needed something for my Hula troupe when we have a surface that is not safe for barefoot. We want something that doesn’t distract, or change our balance. This fits perfectly and no rub on the heel. Straps felt a little snug at first, but you want that, and I wore them long after dance practice. All my dancers will be ordering these!

Fitting
Must refer to the size chart. I usually wear size 9 or 10 but I purchased size 11 according to the size chart and it turns out that they perfectly fit. Nice quality.

Size up?
Cute style! I ordered to 7-7.5 size and they are a little tight on my feet. I wear a 7 or 7.5 depending on the shoe and I find these a little too small for comfort. Research says I can stretch them, so I’ll give it a try. Will update again after stretching/ wearing/ dancing (salsa, bachata).

True to size
These shoes are perfect for line dancing. They’re very comfortable. If you normally wear an 8.5, I would suggest purchasing the 9/9.5. They are very flexible. I was a little disappointed with the body of the shoe, though. It advertised being leather and it is not. It is material. The leather is on the bottom of the shoe. It is lightweight. Whether it is worth the money or not, the jury is still out. It serves its purpose well.

Sturdy and comfortable
These shoes are very comfortable. I wear them when I go dancing. I like the canvas and feel confident that they’ll last long despite being ballet shoes and me walking on cement. They fit well and are very comfortable. I’d buy them again when my pair wear out. I’ve had them since January, I think, and I go dancing almost every weekend.
is it Spring yet? –
Wow, these ballet shoes are horrid. Made from cheap fabric with a sole that is not large enough to meet the shoe, so you end up walking on one side of the shoe. There is nothing here to praise. Save your money.
