This is a premium serum that feels like it’s doing something right away, and it’s become an easy part of my nightly routine.The Oak Essentials Firming Plant Peptide Serum is marketed to help support firmness and elasticity, smooth the look of fine lines, and provide a more radian complexion using a botanical blend of peptides, plant stem cells, and barrier-supporting humectants.Upon use, I feel my face appears lighter and I’m completely content with that alone.PROS:- My face genuinely looks brighter when I apply it.- Lightweight serum feel and easy to work into a routine. (Apply, let it sink in, the moisturize).- I like the idea of the formula targeting firmness, hydration, and barrier support all in one step.CONS:- There is a noticeable product smell, so I personally only use it at night. It doesn’t smell bad, but it is there.Overall, I like it! It feels high quality, and I notice a visible difference after application.*5 stars!

Nice serum but hasn’t made a huge a difference for my skin
I’ve been using this serum for about a week. There are many things I like about it, but considering the price, I can’t say I would buy this again. The packaging is great, very well made, and the pump dispenses serum easily. The serum itself has a really nice consistency- not too thick but not too runny either.Im in my late 30s and I have sensitive skin that is recovering from recent hormonal stress and rosacea. I have large pores and some early signs of aging, and a damaged skin barrier I’ve been working to repair.Your experience may vary but on me it seems to take a little while to fully absorb – which I like, because that makes it a great serum to use for gua sha or other face massage. I don’t find it sticky or tacky and it’s not unscented but the smell is a mild woody scent that doesn’t bother me. It hasn’t not irritated me at all. I also can’t tell if it has made a huge permanent improvement on my skin in terms of anti aging or barrier repair, but it is nicely moisturizing when I use it. It feels very gentle and lightweight.All that said, this product is pretty far out of my usual budget and, as nice as it is, I can’t see myself spending that much on a product that doesn’t absolutely wow me and make a huge difference in my skincare. If I could afford it, I would love to keep something like this on hand for days when my skin needs a break from more active serums, but I don’t feel like this is a must-have for me personally.

Works well in conjunction with my skincare regimen and red light therapy
I’m a 49-year-old female with relatively good skin for my age. I hardly have any wrinkles around my eyes, but I do have laugh lines and forehead lines that I don’t care for. I am trying to be proactive in caring for my skin in order to reduce the signs of aging. I have added this Oak Essentials Firming Plant Peptide Serum to my skincare regimen. I start with cleansing my face before using my red light mask or red light panel to treat my face. Once my session is finished, I apply this Oak Essentials Firming Plant Peptide Serum before applying a nighttime moisturizer and eye cream. Obviously, I am using multiple skincare products as well as red light therapy, so it’s impossible to say exactly which benefits are from this serum versus other products or therapy. However, I can say that the combination is very effective for me. One pump of the serum is sufficient for covering my face. If I also want to cover my neck and decolletage, I need two pumps. I rub the last little bit onto the backs of my hands. The serum is a milky white liquid with a silky feel. It quickly absorbs into my akin and leaves it feeling oh so smooth and soft. The serum is unscented, but that does not mean it has no smell at all. The scent is from the ingredients in the formula instead of an added fragrance. It isn’t the best smelling skincare product, but I no longer smell it after it absorbs. They could have masked the smell with a fragrance, but that opens the possibility for irritation or allergy for those of us with sensitive skin. Personally, I prefer a natural product. I am very happy with this serum and plan to keep it in my nighttime skincare regimen. It is a bit pricey at the current price of $98.00 for 1 oz of product. However, it is obviously a premium skincare serum. The nice pump dispensing glass bottle is heavy and feels substantial. It has a very unique plant peptide formula that is free of silicones, colorants, sulfates, phthalates, parabens, PEGs, petrolatum, mineral oil, and GMOs. It meets EU and UK standards, which are much more strict than the standards in the USA. I have full confidence in the safety of this serum. It is also cruelty-free, which is important to me as an animal lover.
