Works well! Doesn’t come with light though
This comes with base coat, matte top coat, regular top coat, and laser top coat (glittery). It also comes with a yellow tone cat eye which is what the magnet is for. Plenty of colors both regular and glittery. What it doesn’t come with is the instructions on how to use the magnet. I’ll save you a YouTube…apply the cat eye and prior to curing it with the light, hold the magnet over the nail for about 10-12 seconds. After that, if you don’t know how to manipulate it to get the effect you want, you will need to ask a friend or YouTube. The polish is good and lasts me a few days to a week but I’m a nervous Nelly always picking at her nails. It comes off fairly easily WITHOUT ripping my nails apart. This is the longest I’ve been able to grow my very thin nails. IT DOES NOT COME WITH THE LIGHT!! Make sure you buy one. I cure them for about 1-2 minutes.

Pretty Polishes
I purchased the Aurora Night set, and when I received my package, one shade had spilled everywhere and the same shade was missing the brush. I contacted the seller who was very professional and refunded me a portion of the price, since they were unable to send a replacement for that shade. The rest of the shades were perfectly fine and it was relatively easy to clean the bottles that had polish on them.The colors are very pretty and moody. The bottles are smaller than what the average consumer is used to, but this is standard for these kinds of gel polish sampler packs. It comes with a Primer, Base coat, No Wipe Top Coat and Matte Top coat, as well as a magnet for the magnetic polishes. A note about the magnetic polishes, they are intentionally sheer and seem designed to layer best over darker colors. I would do 2 coats of the magnet polish (cure in-between) to get the strong effect and make sure to do thin layers vs thick. I know some people might want to do 1 thick layer vs 2 thin layers, but a thick layer will have issues curing properly. This can lead to wrinkling or warping of the gel or even the gel underneath not curing properly which can lead to it sort of gooshing out of the side. You might save 3 minutes in application time but you’ll spend more time afterwards trying to file it down or even removing it.The polish does have a mini window on the front that lets you see the color, which is nice because the stickers on the top of the bottle aren’t always accurate. Just make sure you store them in the box they came in to prevent the gel from curing due to the light let through by the mini window.TL:DR: These are beautiful colors, I love that it comes with primer/base/top coat because if you just get this kit, plus a lamp and a few files, you’ll have everything you need to do a set!

Modelones fabulous Fall Collection
Love this brand. The kit is affordable , a really good value , the colors are vibrant, gorgeous. The polished are nice, creamy, thick, doesn’t flood all over your cuticle and is easy to apply and low fragrance.This particular collection is fabulous for Fall. I tried the Green 0813 way out of my comfort zone and have had several compliments. It’s a true Army green not yellowed strange green.The kit includes Base, Shiny, Matte and Laser Top coats . I prefer the Beetles Peel off Base even though my Mani may not last as long , I believe it to be easier to apply and remove plus more gentle on my nails than the standard remover and it works beautifully with this brand .I like how they are presented in the box makes it easier if one wanted to coordinate 2 colors. I use my hands a lot and find the color durable. Because of the base coat for most polishes chipping or peeling usually begins by day 4-5 this one has lasted through 8-9 almost double the time.Also thrilled the collection includes a couple glam and sparkling options that will be great throughout holidays.I give this collection very high marks for all categories and have been very happy with the Modelones brand.

Colors are not as advertised.
I wanted so badly to love these. Really, I did. With a wide variety of color options, all at an affordable price, I decided to save myself the money I’d spend running back and forth to the salon every three weeks, bored with my own color sets, by having a little something else around to satisfy.I’ve ordered from this company before. In fact, their temperature-changing gels are phenomenal. This collection, however, came up short. Not only are the colors not as advertised (rather than the magnetic polishes having that beautiful black backdrop, it’s gray), the glittery portion is difficult to see without direct light shining down. You might as well just wear metallic polish. Why waste your time?Layering is also ridiculous. I knew, even before swatching, that four coats later I’d still see my natural nails.As for longevity? They’re holding up so far. I may come back and edit this to speak my mind if they happen to chip or peel before the one-week marker, but the primer, base, and top coat are high quality despite the rest being mediocre.TL;DR: go for another brand if you’re looking for magnetic gels, at the very least, and prepare to layer at least five coats.Pictured is what is supposed to be the black and pink magnetic polish.
