Highly effective
This moist heating pad works beyond expectation.After using several options for body heating, this is the best and most effective I have had so far.I live in Germany but The cost on Amazon.com was more reasonable and it was unfortunately more cost effective to purchase and ship from Amazon.com than buy the same item on Amazon.de. The delivery was fast and effective as everything arrived in good order and before expected delivery date.After using it for a while now, I must say I’m pleasantly pleased by the continuous moist heat it provides unfailingly. The weight is just right to keep it the pad in place and let the heat seep in. I use it to calm the pain radiating from my herniated disc cervical pain, back pain and sometimes sore sheen muscles. This size is perfect for the neck and the weight keeps it in place. The moist heat is highly efficient with a lasting effect on the muscles and nerves and without irritating to the skin (if you keep to the instructions). I find that I has to heat for at least one or 1.5 extra minutes to get my desired and tolerable heat level.I also find this “clay bead” option neutral and much better than the “grain options” in terms of smell with the grains options having an odor (eg lavender) that eventually becomes unpleasant over time. I also find this much better that the heating clay-paste pads (on plastic) which many physiotherapists tend to have and which don’t really make adequate contact with the body.I was convinced enough to willingly ship this twice from the US to germany which costed much. It would be nice to have it available on Amazon.de at an affordable cost.

Ice size and weight
We love these pads for heating. They hold heat evenly for a good length of time. Using them for cold is not as effective. They don’t get cold enough and the one we used for the freezer started to have an odor when it dethawed. I can only describe it as an old refrigerator smell. My freezer is new and doesn’t have any odors so I’m not sure how that even happened. So we use the one for heating. If we use the other one for cold, we put it back in the freezer before it completely dethaws to prevent the smell. But we love the size and feel of these pads and do recommend purchase.

Nice, soft heat
This is the 2nd time I have ordered these. They provide a nice heat for a short time so you don’t have to worry about skin discoloration from prolonged exposure to heat. I do find i have a to reheat it often, that’s the reason for 4 stars, but I actually really like them and use a lot for back pain or neck pain.

You Need This!
It’s soft and doesn’t weigh a ton. the size is perfect. No smell when it arrived or after being frozen or heated. It’s comfortable to lay on. It doesn’t stay cool for 60 minutes for me though. Even if I leave it in the freezer overnight. I’ve heated it a few times as well. It worked and stayed warm for some time.It’s easy to mold around any part of the body and works really well for my kiddos. It seems to be really durable so far! I love the little cards it came with too!Overall, I think the design is great and I’m glad I chose this one for my moist heat for pain.

I had shingles on my chest around my back and to my spine around a few months ago, but now I’ve been suffering with the nerve damage. I tried this heating pad and it’s the right length to go from my chest under my arm and around to my spine. When I go to bed I wrap it around me and it puts me to sleep. I love the moist feeling it gives me. This is exactly what I needed when I go to bed. No more pain. Bed time is my favorite time. I’m at peace!…..thank you!
