I wanted a black blouse, I didn’t have one in black. When I order Grace Karin, I know that I’m getting a quality item because I’ve bought the brand before. When it arrived in a bag, it was very wrinkled and I dreaded having to iron out that front. I first thought, better to send it back because that’s going to be a pain to iron. As with most delicate fabrics, I decided to air dry it with a lent free damp item. That worked beautifully, no ironing necessary and the fabric has a nice weight and body. It’s 98% polyester. The satin finish is pretty and it catches light so the cross over front doesn’t look flat. I’m so glad that I purchased this blouse. I wore it, tucked in and under a jacket, for about 3 hours, not a hint of a wrinkle.The neck band is closed with two half round small buttons and elastic loops. That is a little difficult for me to manage, but I’ll get the hang of it eventually. I don’t care for the elastic gathered sleeves. Nothing wrong, just not my preferred sleeve. I like a band or a cuff. Considering the weight of the material, it’s surprisingly breathable, so it’s going to be comfortable in the Spring and Summer. I suggest washing it turned inside out and in a laundry bag, with darks, cold water; dry it low to air heat. You don’t need a laundry bag, but it will protect the blouse.Sorry that my pictures don’t justify how nice it looks. I’m going to order a few more of these blouses in different colors.I’m 5′ 93 lbs, and the small size fits perfectly. Shoulders hit exactly as they should. That’s another thing that I like about the brand, it’s a true fit. I have girl endowments and I often have to go with a medium to accommodate them, but the shoulder seams fall about an inch or so too wide. I also don’t like a bodycon fit. GK nails the proper fit.This is a beautiful blouse with an interesting style. Wear it alone or under a jacket, it’s ideal either way. Most of my jackets aren’t standard collar friendly, it’s a constant struggle to keep the jacket and collar in order. Too much work!You need this blouse in your wardrobe!

Very nice quality for the price point
For the price, the fabric is much nicer than I expected. Also the buttons on the back of the neck and the sleeves were very nice (again for the price). The blue color was gorgeous. It just didn’t look great with my skin tone. In addition, I felt like it wasn’t very flattering cut for my build . I have large chest and smaller waist. I felt like this blouse just made me look, boxy with short torso (and did not show off my waist at all). Looking at one of the pictures I can see that they show blouse on a thin model wearing it untucked. It would probably look really good on someone built like that. Unfortunately, I needed this tucked in to wear with a skirt for business suit and a corporate setting.

Stunning color!
This wine-colored blouse looks really great with a pair of black slacks. It did arrive wrinkled, but with a steam iron on SILK setting, the wrinkles came out. I would advise to be careful with the iron and iron it on the wrong side, perhaps using a damp washcloth to sponge over the wrinkles before ironing. I thought the blouse would be hot, but it was not. I wore it a few days ago and got a lot of compliments. As some others have said, the tiny elastic loops that go over the two little buttons on the back of the neck are a royal pain in the neck! If you don’t have someone to button these for you, it will take a while to get it done! I have thought of removing these elastic loops and making some out of crochet thread in a matching color. I did add some very small shoulder pads which I covered in similar fabric of the same color as the blouse. It really helped the looks! One other thing–I ordered the medium size and really think I should have ordered the small size. A little big under the arms and on the shoulders. I am 5 feet, 1 inch, and weigh 135. It’s not a big deal, but the small would have fit better.Here is an update on this blouse….I got it out of the closet to wear yesterday. It was hanging on a rack just above a shelf that contained a few empty picture frames. As I removed the blouse, the back of it barely touched the corner of one of those picture frames and a thread was pulled, from six inches above the bottom, all the way up to the shoulder. The blouse is ruined, so I have ordered another one. I am an experienced seamstress, but this cannot be fixed. Next time, I will store the blouse separately in a plastic garment back to avoid another disaster. Do be careful if you get this blouse, and protect it from snags.

Beautiful – But Beware Buttons!
Beautiful top and comfortable HOWEVER, after only the second wash, one of the buttons on the back of the neck completely came off so now I can only wear this top when I wear my hair down to hide the weird way that I have to try to secure the top. Very disappointed as it is passed the return window so now I am stuck with a broken top!

marks easily on neck…
Shirt is great, but my neck isn’t quite long enough so I get makeup on the collar. it is comfortable, fits well, washes easily. It does require some ironing. Color is vibrant.
