Hidden Gem
On the left is my hair after fighting it yesterday and refusing to do a single pass on the hair in the morning. On the right is the TWO PASS, on my morning hair. My stubborn, have to brush and pin and baby hair to get it to cooperate. I’m not saying this straightener is the biggest bestest things compared to Salon style brands. We know how everyone loves the salon brand but not the salon price. This straights is unassuming and ABSOLUTELY amazing. And it blows the salon ones out of the water. Here’s my take on why. Every other straightener I’ve used SMOKES when it touches my DRY hair. This one did not. It gave me a nice iron down and didn’t burn me in the process. It let me set my hair downward without passing it 4 times. Easy to use, starts warming up immediately. Looks very pretty and discreet (I like loud colorful stuff but it’s a gorgeous black and won’t look as messy). Most importantly: hair isn’t FRIED. this is literally just $20 and does EXACTLY what the salon does without hurting you and you can lock it shut!!! So it’s easier to transport and it comes with a sleeve for it. I like it.

This is it! I’ve used them all from cheap to expensive! This one is amazing! I am from the days where you used a clothes iron to straighten your hair, so let me tell you that this is the best bang for your buck! I’m able to put the temperature at a lower setting than my prior one (diff brand). There’s NO hair pulling, straightened with ease, and made my hair feel so smooth!*I did have to do an exchange as my first one was broke – digital display sections missing & temperature control buttons didn’t work. They quickly sent me a new one before I even had time to return the first one. New one is perf!

I have very thick hair, so at this price point I honestly had my doubts, but this flat iron did not disappoint. The 1.75-inch wide plates make styling much faster, especially for long, thick hair, and it smooths my hair well without needing multiple passes.I’ve been using it consistently for a few months now and have had no complaints. It heats up well, glides smoothly, and works great for straightening. Overall, it performs much better than expected.
