Medical Grade Electric Heating Pad: Pain and injuries can be tough to deal with, so you want the best possible care in order to get quick relief. This high-quality medical grade heater pad is now available for public use. Patient-friendly, the moist heat you’ll get from this heat pad is most commonly prescribed by physical therapists, chiropractors, and doctors. You can now have that care in the convenience of your own home.
Deep Relief For Chronic Pain, Injuries, Cramps, And More: We deal with many injuries or conditions that can slow us down, but life can’t stop because of it. Moist heat can gradually help relax muscle spasms to relieve pain and restore general flexibility in the muscles. It can also help relieve chronic low back pain, arthritis, rheumatic conditions, menstrual cramps, and pain from back or disc injuries.
Why Use Moist Heat: Moist heat can help you get back on your feet more quickly. Studies have shown that moist heat has greater benefits than dry heat. The heat from ThermoRelief’s moist heat pads helps moisture get through the skin barrier and deeper into the tissue beneath. This helps to increase circulation to problem areas, bringing in new blood cells while taking away wastes to speed up recovery.
No Water Or Soaking Needed: How can a moist heating pad be effective if you aren’t adding moisture? When heated, the soft flannel covering of this hot pad draws in moisture and humidity from the air and retains it, then transfers it to your skin through a process called fomentation. This way, your clothes and skin don’t become saturated due to water being held against them.
Controls Are In Your Hands: Your skin, problem areas, and heat tolerance are individual to you, so it makes sense to have an adjustable control so that you can customize your care. The state-of-the-art digital controller on this heating pad allows you to adjust the temperature to 113, 130, 150, or 167 degrees and set auto shutoff time control at 15, 30, 45, and 60-minute intervals, all depending on your needs.

    Great quality, gets really hot.
I love this thing. Regular heating pads don’t get hot enough. This one has ample settings – I mostly use 150 and 167 degrees. Really great quality and one of the best purchases I ever made. I use it for period cramps, back and neck pain, or just to stay warm while I work at my desk. Have recommended it to many people. There’s no issues with it and it doesn’t use too much power – I have older electrical wiring in my house. It’s very bendy and comfortable, with no pointy wires in the middle of it. I think it is worth the price and glad it isn’t more expensive. I could easily see them charging over $100 for this. Just be careful because it provides such good pain relief that you can over do it! I did get some redness on my belly a few times. I’ve had it for 1 year now with no issues.

A bit finicky and one sided
I didn’t read the directions the 1st time I used it. I thought it just a heating pad, pretty straight forward, no? lol. So my bad. But the 1st time I used it, it kept turning off. I’d set the temp and thought I was good to go since the timer was already counting down. Nope! I guess if you don’t touch the timer button after setting the temp it doesn’t work. How silly. Why does the timer count down if it’s not on?Also when I read the directions it said that you should only use one side of it, the side opposite the tag. Never in my life have I encountered a one sided heating pad! I don’t know if that’s because it’s infrared or why? On that note I really wish they mentioned the infrared and explained it on Amazon or on the directions. It only says infrared in a comparison chart and I almost wonder if it’s a typo because it’s not mentioned anywhere else. Additionally I wish that there was more control over the temp and they didn’t jump 20 degrees…and why isn’t it a consistent jump? The 130 setting is not hot enough and 150 is too hot. Why not jump 10 degrees every time? I had a similar older version of this heating pad (it lasted nearly 10 years before giving up on me) and it just had low/med/high. This has a digital read out, so why not give us more control? I’m kinda missing my old heating pad. I’m hopeful that this one has a better effect if it is in fact infrared. I got the more expensive one because of the mentioned infrared and it’s weighted, but it’s not much heavier than the old one tbh. I love the fact that this gives you moist heat, that’s why I bought the original. I hated using wet clothes or misting my heating pad and dry heat makes me hurt. It did mention however if you live in a dry climate or your AC causes dry climate to use a humidifier in the room. Luckily I don’t have a dry climate but it’s good to know. Overall this is a good heating pad compared to one without the moisture features. It’s well made and gets super hot. I just see room for improvement and it’s kinda annoying. This is a pricey heating pad. I wish they could have worked out the kinks by now.

    The BEST
Excellent! I purchased two other heating pads that didn’t even get hot. While this was pricy, it is weighted and goes up to 167°. It is worth every penny. The cover is removable and washable. The weighted really makes a difference to me. Best heating pad I’ve ever used. Stop wasting money on junk and invest in this if you often use a heating pad.

A Heating Pad that Actually Works!
I like this moist heating pad for my arthritis. It really gets hot if that’s what you need it. It comes in different sizes…also a plus. It has a lighted display which is good in the dark. The only issue is the cover over the heating pad has a funky smell when the pad is turned on. The best thing to do is wash the cover before use. Otherwise this is a good find!

  5. Jessica Hallam

    Best heating pad I’ve had
This is the best heating pad I’ve owned. I struggle with joint paint from a hypermobility disorder and this is great for wrapping around my leg and has the weight to hold pad in place. And gets hot enough to soothe my pain unlike other hearing pads. It’s also great for keeping me warm in the winter. I lay it on my chest and it’s like a nice warm hug!

  6. Terri B

    UNPREDICTABLE
Started out ok but the heat is all over the place. So far I have been unable to use it at the highest setting or even the middle settings. 113 is nearly unbearably hot. I think I have a bad thermostat. I have it on the lowest setting of 113 (odd numbers: 113, 167?) and intermittently it goes into HI heat and I have to remove the pad because it starts burning my skin AT THE LOWEST SETTING. I especially dislike the pad goes instantly to the hottest setting immediately on timer and you have to cycle through all the settings to get to the lowest before you burn yourself. Bad design.POSITIVES: It is a good large size for overall encompassing your body parts. Removable soft washable cover. The cord is long but could still be longer. The heavy weighted part is excellent for allowing the pad to press onto your skin. Definite plus there.Still would not recommend unless this is just a fluke and I got a bad unit.
