Order 1/2 to 1 full size up than normal
Well made shoe , width I found to be accurate (I ordered a narrow width) however I found this shoe to run a half size to one full size smaller . I wear a women’s 7 narrow almost exclusively and I’ll have to buy a 7.5 narrow for myself . If buying for a child I’d order a full size up to allow for growth.

Pretty on the feet
I have several flat shoes. This type has a tight toe. If you’re a new dancer I think you’ll like it for turning. It’ll make your life easier. But make sure you wear a stretchier shoe for barre and jumping. You don’t want to develop bunions and need to train your legs to meet your toes and your eyes and your hips. To do that you need some space to move your toes individually. But switch for turning! I’d add that these shoes feel the most like my first pointe shoes. They’d wear out quickly if I only wore them so I primarily practice in the heeled soft shoes and a wide pair of ballet slippers.

Good quality but skinny
These ballet shoes are a great quality. I did have to exchange them for a wide because they regular with too skinny for my daughter, and she does not have wide feet. Exchange was very easy.

I ordered a size up but they were still too small. Just ordered a size 9 and hope they will fit. I use these in my barre class. The leather is very nice.

These shoes were esthetically pleasing to the eye but they were uncomfortable for my daughter. I would say they were 2 sizes too small. The quality wasn’t bad but I can tell you that they need to update the sizing chart.

I purchased these for a trip to Europe during the summer. I need a pair of shoes to wear in the sea to avoid getting stung by jellyfish. I didn’t like the look of the standard sock-style beach shoes. I decided to purchase these instead. I wore them to walk to the beach, on rocky shorelines and in salt water. They held up very well and stayed on my feet while swimming. The leather got a little bit crispy at the end of three weeks in salt water and sun but nothing a little leather conditioner or saddle cream can’t fix.
