Beautiful magnetic shimmer with a deep, glassy blue tone
I picked up this Beetles Blue Cat Eye Gel from the Stellar Whisper collection for a weekend manicure project, and it turned out stunning. The color shifts beautifully under light, a rich blue with a metallic, galaxy-like shimmer when you use the magnet just right. It levels smoothly, cures well under UV, and feels like salon quality once finished. The formula isn’t too thick, which makes it easy to control without flooding the cuticles. Dries fairly quickly I think.If anything, the magnetic effect can fade a bit if you overwork the polish before curing, so it’s best to set the magnet and cure right away. Overall, it’s a gorgeous, high-shine polish that makes nails look professionally done. I’d definitely try more shades from this line.

This nail polish color is such a great find for the price! The formula goes on smoothly, gives full coverage in just one or two coats, and lasts surprisingly long without chipping. The color is vibrant and looks just as good as more expensive brands. For how affordable it is, the quality is amazing — definitely great value for the money. This polish is basically a glass of red wine in a bottle — without the hangover. The color is chef’s kiss — a juicy, translucent burgundy that looks like crushed cherries under candlelight. Two coats and my nails looked like I had them professionally done (minus the salon small talk).It goes on smooth, self-levels beautifully, and cures to a glossy, jelly-like finish that makes you want to keep staring at your hands. The red cats eye polish was very pretty, and the black was the first jelly polish I have ever bought and I really like it. It goes on smoothe, cures quickly, levels out nicely, and isn’t sticky. For the price, its a good value. I swatched it with 1, 2, and 3 coats. All are very pretty.

Before buying this product, I was using OPI gel and the product was truly terrible. I’m so glad I replaced it with this gel, and at less than half the price! It’s the perfect shade and cures with no problem, unlike OPI.

It’s deceiving at first when it polishes silver, until the magnet is used to make the design. I love that I can use this over any polish colour. I used a different magnet that I have from another cat eye brand. Very fun to play with and create different patterns. Easy to use and no issues with cure time or finish.

Just don’t risk it. I’ve been doing my gel nails (certified) at home with clients. I recently heard of the rave with beetles gel – being cheap and really good quality. My fingers are now numb, sore and discoloured from their products. I’ve purchased over $300 worth of their products that I have now trashed. It’s not even worth reselling on facebook market to risk another person. Beetles, take responsibility for your product and what harm they are doing to beginners and novices. Don’t do it guys- it’s taken me two weeks to heal, and even so- I may never use gel again because of them.
