Excellent quality and comfort
These are very comfortable-they feel as soft as a high-quality cotton but much lighter. I bought a 4 pk to try and just ordered another 4 pk.

Very comfortable, but too expensive
The Amazon reviews sold me on this underwear. At almost 50 years old, I got the idea into my head that I should switch from briefs that I have worn all my life to boxer briefs. This was brought on after experiencing some recurring inner thigh chafing during hiking in hot and humid climates. I had experimented with cotton boxer briefs once in the past and didn’t like them- they were too bulky and got uncomfortable when wearing pants over them. These bamboo boxer briefs caught my eye. I’ve had bamboo socks before and really liked the material. The boxer briefs looked like they would be much less bulky than cotton ones, handle humidity better and hopefully prevent chafing.I am happy to report that this underwear did achieve all of those goals. It is very comfortable. The legs stay in place reasonably well, though they can ride up sometimes, depending on how you are moving. They solved my chafing problems- I did a 6 day backpacking trip with these with daytime temps in the 90s and had no chafing at all. A few times I did have to pull the legs down as they had ridden up, gotten into a bunch and were getting to the point where I noticed them. There is some minor pilling of the fabric that I am noticing after using these for a few months. It isn’t really a problem, though I have a slight worry that may indicate these won’t last that long.The reason I am only giving these 4 stars is value. Shortly after getting these and liking them, I got another set of bamboo boxer briefs from another seller on Amazon that was about half the price of the Bamboo Cool ones. Those weren’t promoted by Amazon as much and had far fewer reviews, but I have found they perform just as well and are just as comfortable as these Bamboo Cool briefs. At this time, I do not see any value difference that makes these worth twice the price of the competition. I will keep an eye on longevity and come back and update this review if I find the Bamboo Cool underwear greatly outlasts the less expensive alternative.
