These are good!
Perfect for hiking and swimming. The fit is good and maybe a little roomy. If between sizes I would suggest sizing down. Cute and good quality. It’s a nice option for when you don’t want to wear a bathing suit all day. Comfortable to swim in and dry quickly.

Great value! Versatile and perfect length!
Very versatile short/swimwear. Perfect length for modesty and comfort. Pockets are a great feature! Fits phone and keys. Equally comfortable for walking, bicycling and swimming and dries quickly. Color and material lasts really well – I usually machine wash and hang dry.

Nice but definitely do run small
I love them! Comfy, built in pockets and nice material. They definitely run small as the other reviews said. I’m glad I read them. I’m 5’3 weigh 185. Usually wear a 16 or XL. I bought 3x after reading that they run small. They fit perfect.

I thought the fabric might be thicker but I was pleasantly surprised when it was a quick drying material which is perfect for the pool or beach. The size is just right for a perfect fit. The panty liner is perfect when you come out of the water which most other board shorts don’t offer. No worry about exposure when you are knocked down from a wave or diving into a pool.

I really like these shorts they come with an underwear sewn in and it’s not tight. They are the perfect length and are so comfortable! I’m a mom so I don’t want little tiny shorts while playing with the kids so these shorts are great! Will be buying more! Highly recommend!

Finally, a bathing suit (bottom) I can love
At least I love these shorts. (Finding the right swim top to go with them was another issue.) comfortable, stays put without feel constrictive. I’m 70 years old, 5″, 160lbs and purchased the large with 7″ inseam in the aqua blue. Color is as shown, shorts feel well constructed and dried fairly quickly. Looking to minimize skin exposure for the sake of UV rays and modesty. It was nice to walk to the beach without needing a coverup. Given the cost of bathing suits, $40 seems like an OK price for the bottom half. Plus, this is something I could actually wear outside of a swimming pool or beach. Bayleaf didn’t have much selection in short sleave swim tops so went else where for that.

Swim shorts
I purchased 2 pair. One each of medium and Large. I am 5’3”, 126 lbs. I wanted a swim short that covers my backside. The medium fit perfect as swim shorts and the Large was comfortable as loose shorts. The shorts have a wide band at the waist that makes the shorts easy to slip on, however where the band attaches inside to the shorts liner was scratchy. I found a silky underwear worn works well to protect against the stitching. I don’t care for the material as swim shorts but nice as shorts.

I give 3 stars because of the pocket and some sewing issues. First time a tried it on, the pockets opened not making a sleek look like on the pictures even if the size is ok. Sides waves due to some seams to fix the pockets to the short ovelaped at some places. Had to sew the pocket openings to ameliorate the look. Those short were 54$ can $ should not have those defaults. Baleaf should pay more attention to their quality because it is the second time I have an issue, the other was for a pair of pants that one leg was 1/2 inch shorter than the other.

These are comfortable and they fit according to the size chart, but they are totally see-through. I’ve only worn them on top of my bathing suit bottoms cuz of this. I was hoping to wear them out to other places as just regular, non swimming type shorts, but that will definitely not be happening lol!
