Wonderful, comfortable, soft, nice smelling product!!!
Such a nice scent and a wonderful product for my hair!!! It’s also safe for me and my 4pg. allergies list!!!! I’d recommend and do recommend this product to very many people!!! I’m disabled and live in a skilled nursing facility and have staff help me with things I cannot do myself and multiple staff have complimented on the easy of it’s use through my hair and they and I agree with how nice smelling and soft it makes my hair. Also many people have noticed how nice my hair looks and smells!!! I tell them about it, it’s natural safeness, it’s great price and where to get it. I know that at least 3 of them have also already purchased it and love it!!!

Smells Great
This leaves my hair very manageable, with hardly any frizz. It isn’t as soft as big brands, but it also doesn’t have the harsh ingredients that leave residue in your hair in order to smooth it. The price is a bit much, but it is worth it because you get a large bottle and a little goes a long way.

I will say 2 nice things about this product first. It’s organic… yay. It smells fantastic… a real lavender scent. Besides these things, I found this conditioner to be absolutely useless and ineffective! I used to buy Avalon Organics shampoo and conditioner regularly some years ago and was VERY satisfied with them. The only reason I stopped using them is because our budget got really tight and I had to buy cheaper products. As I have been able to buy nicer products again, I wanted to give Avalon another try. Feeling I could trust that it was a good product, I made the mistake of buying a really big bottle of it on Amazon, excited to see the good value. First… I was not able to get the pump nozzle to release by turning it, no matter what I tried. So, I just used it by pouring it out the top. I was extremely surprised and disappointed to find that it was a completely different consistency than I remember (but same great smell). When I used it years ago it was nice and thick and I didn’t have to use a huge volume of it to get good coverage for my hair. This stuff was so thin, I had to use handfuls of it just to feel it on my hair at all, and even with a huge volume applied, I felt like there was nothing in my hair. Even what was in my hair just ran and dripped off instead of being retained and letting my hair soak in it a little while. After I rinsed and got out of the shower, I was disgusted to find that, as I tried to brush my hair, not only was my hair dry and tangly, as if it has not been conditioned at all, but I began to notice a waxy build up on my hair brush, which I have never yet experienced! I would return it if my return window was not already closed. Now it will probably just go in the trash… a complete WASTE of money and resources!

Great Non Toxic Condition
I love this conditioner form my children who have fine hair. Gives a nice shine and gets the knots out. Easy to use and I love the on toxic ingredients and the fact that it’s EWG verified. A great value for the money. I took one star away because it’s not moisturizing enough for my curly hair.

This is a great product… you just have to be accustomed to natural conditioners. If you’re expecting a thick coating or cream style like many chemical laden formulas you might be disappointed. It penetrates almost immediately and doesn’t feel like much honestly until your hair is dry… but it makes your hair really smooth and healthy with continued use. I LOVE the smell… it does remind me of being at spa as said in other reviews… and it doesn’t linger. There are zero synthetic scents used (I’m highly allergic), and with recycled packaging to boot you really can’t go wrong.

Definitely not very moisturizing
So I’m not usually what you’d call “picky” when it comes to my shampoo & conditioners. I just like to use products that have as few chemicals & fillers as possible so the more natural the better. However, when I used this conditioner I can honestly say I was surprised at how DRY it was in my hair. The texture in hand feels normal and it smells lovely, but the second it hits your hair it feels like it’s almost sticking to the hair instead of coating it for ease of management. I tried to use my fingers to comb through my hair and it was very very difficult to do. It took a long time to not just pull all of my hair out as I combed. I have really long, lightly curly but average textured (not frizzy prone) hair so it doesn’t take a LOT of conditioner for me to manage my hair. I will definitely not be buying this again. I’m sure there are better conditioning products out there that aren’t loaded with chemicals.

Lavender conditioner does not condition hair
The lavender conditioner does not condition and does not help my hair. The biotin shampoo is great, lavender conditioner is terrible. I am going to have to throw it out and get a conditioner that actually makes my hair soft.

This bottle is HUGE.
The title says it all. This bottle is HUGE for the price, making it a great deal! The conditioner itself is a little loose/watery — I do notice myself having to use more than I normally would with other products. However, it’s EWG verified, which I love, it smells great, and again, you get so much of it for the price ($11 when I ordered) that it’s totally worth it!

The conditioner leaves my daughter’s kinky African hair detangled and soft. It works very well. Since it is thick, sometimes I don’t get it washed out properly though.

First time ordering this shampoo and conditioner through Amazon Prime. The packaging was a bit of a letdown as the pump of the conditioner bottle wasn’t secured properly and quite a lot of conditioner spilled out, whereas the shampoo bottle was wrapped in plastic bag and was fine.

This has become very expensive! It’s a good conditioner, but the last two times I’ve bought it, it has worked well for a while, but then the liquid turns solid. After that happens, the dispenser stops working, so the only way to get the liquid out of the bottle is to remove the top, leave the bottle balanced upside down for hours until the liquid slides down, and then try to retrieve it by sticking my finger into the bottle. The company needs to find a way to make the conditioner continue to flow properly. I probably won’t buy this again, because it’s just too hard to use.

It doesn’t make your hair soft like other conditioners do. Very hard to brush the hair after use, and I received the bottle broken.
