Thick Hair Girlies This is Your Flat Iron!
I was a bit hesitant to try this as there are a lot of other brands that have far greater reviews. However, as a thick and super straight-haired girlie, I had to find just the right flat iron for my hair. My past flat irons either don’t work as well or the style doesn’t stay for that long unless I sprayed some hair spray to keep it longer. As I was searching high and low through Amazon, I stumbled upon this one and I wouldn’t lie, the aesthetic of the product first pulled me in. With that said, it seemed like a great product so I decided to try it on my hair.Let’s just say that it was the best flat iron that I have owned by far. It takes about 2 minutes to heat up the iron but it works so well. I curled the edge of my hair inwards the night before an event and it stayed on the following day until night time. I was truly amazed with it so I decided to try curling my hair and the curls stayed on for about 3-4 hours before it loosened a little. The loose curls stayed on for almost 8-10 hours. This is all without using a hair spray! If you have shorter hair, the curls might even stay on a little longer. The only downside to this is that I keep accidentally pressing temperature settings.Overall the product is great and I love that they have included gloves and two hair clips with it.

It does a good job curling but I don’t like where the button is placed. I keep hitting the button which in turns cranks up the heat.

My old straightener broke in my suitcase while on vacation. I purchased two new ones to try. I planned to keep one for travel and work, and one for home. The other brand seemed good for travel because it didn’t open with a hinge, it was more like a brush. It was terrible. Made my hair look completely flat and dirty. I returned it and purchased a second Asani 2-IN-1 straightener because I loved mine so much. There are no worries about it snapping apart like my old one because it locks shut. I didn’t realize that the temperature could lock in as well, which would have been my only complaint because I often hit the temperature button while using it. As soon as I figured that out I have no complaints at all. I’m able to use the lowest temperature setting and have seen no damage to my hair at all. My hair looks amazing and I get compliments (even from strangers) ALL the time, and I’m 67 years old.
