Everything I wanted
Im comparing this to the heating pad I got from CVS. This one is luxury! I love it. It gets so warm I dont go past 2. It is soft. It has time setting options. I keep it under my blanket to keep my feet warm and it does the job well. My only complaint is that its starting to discolor a little. But the size is perfect…not too big…not too small.

Bad odor
Heats well, but has a very bad odor to it (strong chemical/burning smell). The odor makes it completely unusable.

Great Pad for the price.
For the price, this is an outstanding heating pad. The controller is well though out and clutter free. Wonder material, feels great against the skin, unlike Sunbeam heating pads that use a cheap flannel color that has no comfort.

Good heating pad with strong, even warmth
I’ve been really happy with this heating pad, it delivers steady, soothing heat that helps a lot with shoulder and upper-back soreness. The size is ideal: wide enough to cover larger areas, but still flexible enough to drape comfortably wherever I need it.The nine temperature levels are a real plus. I usually use it around level 5 or 6, but it’s nice to have higher settings for deeper warmth. The timer options and automatic shut-off make it easy to relax without worrying about leaving it on too long.I took off one star for a couple of small things. The controller works fine but feels a bit flimsy, and sometimes I have to press the buttons twice for them to respond. Also, while it’s technically machine washable, the pad takes quite a long time to dry fully, so cleaning it can be a bit inconvenient.Other than that, the heat it provides is consistent and effective. It’s become my go-to for easing tension after long days.

Strong heating pad!
This is a hot heating pad. I wouldn’t say that about most heating pads I use, and I have quite a few. This morning was chilly, so I pulled out this heating pad to cozy up with it while I drank my coffee. The pad is luxuriously soft and cushiony, so I wrapped it around my aching arthritic hands and turned the setting to 4. I was surprised by how warm the pad got. I turned the heat down to 2, looking for mild heat, and that turned out to be perfect. On any of my other heating pads, I’d find that level 2 warmth at around level 4.I was surprised by the strength of this heating pad. I decided to test it out with the digital thermometer I use to check the temperature of meat. I added pictures to help you see the difference in temperature. For all the levels, I simply pressed the thermometer to the pad with nothing on top of it. In the pictures, you’ll see that level 5 was 102.6 and level 7 was 106.7. I used the highest heat level to show you the difference in temperatures:- When the thermometer was sitting on top of the pad, the temperature was 114.3 degrees.- When the thermometer was sitting on top of the pad and also covered by the pad, the temperature was 128.5 degrees.- When the thermometer was sitting on top of the pad, then covered by the pad, but also as I added pressure to the top of the pad. So, I pressed the thermometer in between the top and bottom of the pad, and the temperature was 140.9 degrees.I tried to mimic the temperature by how I used it. For example, when the thermometer is sitting on top of the pad, would be when I place my hands on top of the pad. Covered would be if I wrapped my hands in the heating pad and the added pressure would be if I wrapped my hands in the heating pad and also had a blanket covering them. Or if I was laying on the heating pad. I hope that makes sense.The control is easy to use and understand; however, I’ve been struggling with the temperature buttons. I keep thinking the buttons are switched, and negative is positive and vice versa. It feels like they are backward, so I have to be very cognizant of that every time I go to change levels. I have found myself on a higher heat level when I meant to lower the heat level. For me, that means I cannot use this pad while I sleep or when I can’t give the usage of this heating pad my full attention at all times. Which kind of stinks because I really like how the electrical cord is configured. The cords lead out from the control, making it easier to position the heating pad and use the control. I’m not pulling on the main cord every time I want to change a setting, which will inevitably lead to me pulling it out of the wall.This is a very strong heating pad that demands attention. It’s soft, cushiony, and feels amazing. It’s easy to use and position, which is a huge plus for those of us who depend on heat to help with pain. It certainly helped me yesterday when my pain skyrocketed out of nowhere. I was grateful I had this pad with me. It’s a good quality heating pad that’s well-made. I haven’t noticed any cold spots on the pad, which is a constant problem with heating devices. I like the timer, and for this heating pad, I’d say it’s needed because it gets so hot. Truly, if you’re someone who will sleep on a pad or forget about it, and you’re used to heat on your body, please be careful with this pad because you will burn yourself. I mean it when I say this pad demands attention. Another note: turn the heating pad off and wait a few seconds before unplugging the pad itself from its electrical cord to wash it. If you don’t do that, when you plug the pad back into the cord, you’ll get an error message, and you’ll have to unplug the entire thing from the power source to reset it.
