The ink cartridge I ordered worked very well. I was very skeptical about replacing the ink cartridge. Reviewing the text reviews many people explained the chip need to be replaced. Well, I never replaced the chip and found the cartridge with the original chip work perfect. The price was reasonable. The printing quality was great no smudges, I only replaced the black cartridge because the ink was low. Great for HP printer.

To trap customers into paying these excessive prices, HP has designed its printers such that they will not print if a non HP cartridges are detected. The manufacturer of replacement cartridges has to be careful that their cartridges are not detected as non-original equipment by the printer. The cartridges from this company passed the detection test just fine and provide substantial savings. For example a four pack of 206A from this company cost $81 while HP’s version of the same ink cartridges cost over $375.Lastly, it is usually a good thing to update the firmware of your devices. This is not true for your HP printer. Many of these HP printer firmware updates upgrade the “knock off cartridge“ detection ability. Your HP printer may work perfectly with non-HP ink cartridge. However, if you update that printer’s firmware you may find your printer will no longer print until you install original Hp cartridges.

The installation was seamless and product works as it should. The print quality is good. I only needed the black cartridges not the colors.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have spent some.time using this product t before writing my review.  I wanted to make sure the product was good and not just to start with.  The toner is  compatible with my HP toner.  It is even better on some of my colors.  I am a teacher and I like to print.in color so that it is appealing to my students.  While teaching summer school many of them have loved how vibrant the colors are.  I have not had any problems with the cartridges or toner in my HP printer.  I have not had any issues with my printer using these cartridges.
