Okay so I bought this for post op healing after a fat transfer surgery so my review is going to have a lot of random information most people won’t need.My surgery removed the fat out of my abdomen and the fat rolls below my bra line on my back and moved it to my breasts.Recovery for this requires compression garments for the lipo treated areas and absolutely no compression on the fat transfer site. This left me needing a compression top that actually covered the lower area of my shoulders while being open face in front and this was the only shirt I could find that encompassed all of my needs. At my 7 day follow up appointment today I told them I replaced the ones I was sent home with (they didn’t cover the full treated area of my back rolls) with these and they said this is great.I ordered this in medium originally and then ordered it in small for a bit more compression. Both work well to hold things in, the small does have a noticeable difference but isn’t uncomfy. I’m 5’3 and about 180lbs (185 currently with all the swelling)The small took a bit more work to get over my booty (I step into mine) but it doesn’t dig in awkwardly anywhere and fits really well after it’s on, so if you’re unsure what size to get, I think it just depends what level of compression you would like.I’ve been in these nonstop for 3 days now and they’re SO much more comfortable than my doctor office garments. Those ones I would wake up with back aches from the compression and would have to go for a walk in the moddle of the night to work it out, but these suck me in without the pain. The material is a bit thick as well so I would keep that in mind during summer.Also it mostly stays in place. It rides up a tad (maybe an inch, if that) in my sleep but else it’s fixed. I have other compression tanks that would ride/roll up all the time but this one has like a line of rubber at the bottom of the shirt at the inside seam that seems to do wonderfully holding this down on me.Hope that helps!

I liked these so much, I ordered a second set. I used the size chart and got an XL.I did read some reviews that said this product rolls up. While that may be the case for some women, I have noassatall, so I do not have that problem. The hem has this sticky type stuff on the inside of the hem that seams to be what keeps the bottom in place.I have worn these both with my own bra, and without any bra. The way these are cut, they seem to support the girls, so you really can’t tell the difference. At least not according to my husband. (Yes, I asked.) When not wearing a bra, you don’t have that back wing under your arms. That changes depending on the bra.As far as this being shapewear… It really IS. Everything is sucked in and stays put. The garment is a little difficult to get on at first, but once on, it is quite comfortable. I recommend stepping into it and pulling it up over your hips. I would never have been able to pull this on over my head.I really love this Gotoly Women’s Waist Cincher Tummy Control Shapewear Compression Vest set.

This surprised me with the quality, It is like a firm sports bra material. I ordered a large, am 5’7 and about 180lbs and it fits nicely. I usually wear a large so I ordered true to my size not the measurements. I hold my weight in my belly and this definitely helps. Perhaps it could be firmer around the waist, but it helps me with posture and definitely pulled the belly in more than not wearing it. I will not go down a size because I would worry about the seams holding up for me.

Well what can I say about this. First of all, let me say I love it. As I age my body has gone in directions I had hoped it wouldn’t, lol. As a result I have been experimenting with different types and styles of shapewear. This is different in several ways. It obviously wears as a tank top as opposed to a bodysuit. This comes in very handy for different times, like consumption of beers (restroom stops). It has just the right amount of spandex to hold me tight and define my not so perfect shape without compression. That means I can wear this for long periods of time very comfortably. Yesterday I wore it all day and part of the evening. I did not sweat in it or overheat. It kept the belly roll away. The part I love the best is the way it wraps around my breasts. It pulls my cleavage both in and up to put me back where I was 20 years ago… sigh! It really does a lot to define my curves in total comfort. It also is fantastic as a smoother. It wears close to a slip in that area.Now, if you are looking to alter your shape with firm control shapewear, this may not be for you. I would find it hard to believe you wouldn’t love it. If you obtain the right fit for your body. I am 5’10” and weigh 150 lbs, give or take 100 with a long torso… I purchased a xl and the fit couldn’t be more perfect, I hope my embarrassment of my weight helps out.
