Awesome coat!
I have been searching for just the right coat for years and finally came across this one! The lining is warm and the sleeves are even warm! Lots of lined pockets, good length that covers most of my thighs.I like being able to unzip the bottom for a couple of inches for when I drive.I really like that it is more of the traditional “parka” style I’ve had in the past, ànd I appreciate the ribbed-knit cuffs.My only concerns are that the metal zipper catches every few inches…even after I’ve waxed/lubricated it; and that there are not enough snaps along the length of the zipper track.I am now able to wear 1 layer under this coat as opposed to wearing multiple layers before and STILL not being warm enough!KUDOS to ROYAL MATRIX!!!!!

Hard to zip; otherwise perfect
This is a great coat. Warm, water and wind resistant with great fleece lined pockets. Coat lining is a super soft fleece and the fur around the hood is nice quality. But honestly, I won’t keep it past this winter because it is almost impossible to engage the zipper at the bottom of the coat. What’s confusing is that the zipper is solid quality and large, so it’s seems like it should zip easily. If the seller would improve the zipper, I’d buy again.

fantastic coat!
I love this coat! I had outgrown all my others and so it was time to get a new one. I held my Breath until I got it and tried it on. windproof ? checked! waterproof ? checked! the lining feels like soft rabbit fur. the pockets are lined with it too. speaking of pockets there are many of them ! the sleeves have protection against wind going up the sleeves . the hood is a bit large, but I just roll it back out of my eyes. I am in a wheelchair and it’s easy to get on and off even with layering as we do in Nebraska . I did order a size bigger than suggested for that reason. I believe this coat is enough to keep me warm even in the coldest of days here in Nebraska . I got the maroon colored and love it. the snaps with the zipper is nice to have. you can do either or , or both. I recommend it to all who needs a winter cold weather coat!

So i’ve had this coat for 2 years now and it has held up brilliantly!!! i love it!!! It has plenty of pockets and they have hand warming material inside them. The waist can be altered to sit as snug or as loose as you like, it’s long enough to cover my bottom and the arms don’t ride up when you reach out for something. It’s very cosy in wind, rain or snow!! I live in NW Indiana right off lake Michigan and believe me the lake effect snows alone are enough to chill your pipes, but this coat keeps me toasty warm. Sometimes when its cold i don’t even have to layer up underneath it, i can just wear a tee or light top. The hood is a little on the larger side and this can make visibility a little difficult but when it’s so windy i appreciate the extra size of it as it keeps my face clear of the wind. The “fur/fluffy” around the hood is still perfect and also gives a little barrier from the elements. I got the black coat and it still is as black as when i bought it, the shape has held up brilliantly as had the hardware – zips, press studs etc and it is my go to winter coat.

Amazing value!
Worth every cent. This coat is designed for cold weather. From the very soft, sufficiently thick lining, the elastic straps to cinch the waist, the hood, the inner and outer sleeve design, and the outer snap over zipper design, this coat is built to keep body heat in from all the vital places it escapes from in cold weather conditions. It also looks really good too!

Great jacket:Pros:- Thick- Heavy- Well insulated- Most of the coat is durableCons:- Buttons fall out abruptly within less than 3 months even if they arent pulled on or snag anything- If you wash the jacket even once, the zip comes apart so the only way to use it is if you never wash it or replace the entire zipper line & sewing a new one on- Over priced for the zipper being such a huge oversight given the fact that without the zipper you aren’t closing the jacket.Overall, 3 star because of the zipper & price

So I’m 5’4, 100lbs and this coat fits perfect.I ordered the black upgraded, size 2.Not sure why other reviews say go a size up, that’s not the case for the one I ordered.The sleeve length is on point.The hood is deep but not too deep, and it has a draw stringThe fur isn’t top quality, but it is soft and looks decentThere are 6 pockets on the outside front of the coat; one on each side of the upper that have snaps to close, and two on each side of the lower, one with a snap and one with a zipper. The pockets are fair size and comfy.There is another pocket on the inside left that zips upThe buttons and zippers all seem to be solidThere is a string at the waist to sinch up to give the coat more of a form fit, which I did, if there was no option to sinch the waist, then the coat would almost be too big for someone with my frame …. almost.Inside the coat is a really soft material.I wouldn’t be able to wear a heavy sweater under this coat, but doubt if I’d need to, as it feels pretty warm, despite it being so light weight.I like the length overall, it’s not really boxy and doesn’t fan out, but I have enough room to move, walk, drive, etc.The outer material is good too.I am confident this coat will keep me toasty whenever winter decides to come back to Calgary, AlbertaShipping was very quick too.Yeah, it’s a keeper.**additional review update**I’m very happy with this coat, I’ve washed this coat 3x already(removed the fur,cold-warm water,normal cycle/soil level,extra spin,all zippers zipped/buttons snapped,tie each hood drawstring in a knot to avoid it coming out)the extra spin cycle is importantTurn inside out before putting in the dryer on medium heatLike new! Didn’t affect the inner material at all.It shrunk a VERY TINY bit, hardly noticeable, now that it’s broken in it fits and feels even better.I love all the pockets!!This coat ROCKS I’ve been rocking it out here on the acerage south of Calgary, ABLast week it was a hard to the core in -37(not with the windchill!!) With only a tank top under it.It’s SO warm. I loved the look of this and the length of it. when I got it , it was obviously a bit wrinkled, but I put it on and it fit great and looked really good. I normally wear a 22, but got a 24 incase i wanted to wear a sweater, but if your a 22 , get that size, you dont need a sweater, the beautiful fur like lining is so warm and soft that you dont need anything else. I impressed with the fabric of the coat and i love the think zipper, it is great for my hands. there are several pockets that can hold all that you need, if you dont want to carry a purse. Really great buy.

My jacket arrived today. It came packed in a little bag with a zipper, the same opaque type you might expect for blankets. It was nice and compact but also extremely wrinkled, which I expect would wear off pretty fast. The color is gorgeous, just what I’d been hoping for. The jacket feels mediumly heavy, thick but not extremely bulky, and I love that it has double pockets at the bottom front. Perfect to keep your hand nice and toasty, but still a pocket to keep something else. The breast pockets are tiny and idk what you’d really use them for. The fur lining is lovely and soft, and the zippers are big, adding some interest to the design. The sleeves are long enough, which is sometimes a problem for me. There is also a tighter ribbed cuff to keep the wind and snow out of the sleeves. The hood seems quite big, but not a deal breaker. That’s pretty normal for jackets.Now here’s my problem. The waist cinch, -which is something I really wanted in a winter jacket for once to give my recangle body some shape-, does not sit at my natural waist line, instead it’s just under the bust, which gives me an empire waist, and I’m not a fan. I never considered I’d have this problem with a jacket, though it’s normal for other clothes. For comparison, I included a photo of my mom, who’s just slightly shorter and heavier, but it fits her much better. I can’t size down and just wear it uncinched because it’s already tight across the bust, and the “waist” would just be higher, and I can’t size up because under the cinch it already feels quite big.To conclude: If you have problems with waistlines being to high for you, I would not recommend. But for the price / color / quality, it’s such a lovely jacket! Regrettably I’m probably going to return mine unless I can get over thebaby-doll/empire waist look

Amazing coat. Beautiful and curve friendly. The sinching string is genius. And SO MANY POCKETS! Warm and fashionable. Absolutely a win. I’m 5ft7 and at the time of the pic I was about 240lb.
