This hair dryer works well. It’s much quieter than most dryers I’ve used, which is great, because I always worry about damaging my hearing with daily use. So it’s great not having to have to worry about that.Some people talk about how heavy it feels, but I don’t really notice. I do visit the gym every once in while, so there you go.I thought the silvery front part of the dryer was going to be metal, but it’s a dull plastic. That makes it look quite a bit cheaper than pictured. It still works great nonetheless. It dries faster than my other dryer. I really like all of the settings; warm/hot (and cool button), low/high. As far as the shininess – I didn’t notice a difference. But I definitely had less static and fly-aways.It comes with a diffuser and another part which you can snap on, which I’m pretty sure is for blowing your hair out.All in all, this hair dryer is a good deal for the price. I think it’s cheaper here on Amazon than Walmart. At my Wally, there were selling it for $20 and I got it for $10 here.

Great blow dryer for the $
We have bought this same style of blow dryer for at least 3 decades now. About every 5-8 years, we just have to replace it. It is just a basic blow dryer, but an absolute work-horse. Yes, there are lots of fancier ones–at far higher prices, but this is a great blow dryer if you just need something basic. It does come with a difuser and an angle attachmnet, but we have never used either of these, so can’t comment on how those work. Again, great quality blow dryer for the money. Highly recommend.

Cheaply made, potential fire hazard!
I’ve never had a hair dryer malfunction so quickly. Buyer beware!!!I used this hair dryer every morning, and I kept the vent clean of lint buildup. Today, I heard a click and the hair dryer shut off. Then I smelled a pungent burning odor. Usually, a hair dryer, especially Conair, will last at least 5 years. This didn’t even last 5 months. It was a mediocre dryer at best, but worked adequately.I cannot be more unhappy with this purchase – total waste of money, and potentially a fire hazard.

The Conair 1875W Turbo Hair Dryer is fantastic! It dries my hair quickly without frizz, thanks to the tourmaline coating and ionic technology. Lightweight, easy to handle, and perfect for daily use. Definitely a solid buy.

After over 25 years of use, my last Conair Hair Dryer finally fizzled out, but I must admit, I was using it for something other than drying my hair, and it overheated. I am glad I was able to find a replacement that seems just as durable as the original. The price was affordable, too.

This Conair dryer is just okay. While the 1875W turbo power is certainly there, the “turbo” mainly translates to excessive noise. Despite the Tourmaline and Ionic coating features, I still experienced a disappointing amount of frizz, and my hair wasn’t as smooth as I’d hoped. It’s also quite bulky and heavy, but it functions as a basic dryer, ok for the price.
